Universal Banker II

Foxboro, MA

Hours:Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 4:30 and a minimum of two Saturdays a month 8:00 am to 1:00 pm; when working a Saturday, full day off during the week

OneLocal Bank is seeking a Universal Banker II to join their team. Reporting directly to the VP/Branch Coordinator and Assistant Security Officer, the Universal Banker II will perform a variety of tasks related to customer service, sales, and banking operations to ensure a positive and seamless customer experience.

Universal Banker II Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with additional training and/or coursework a plus
• 2+ years' relevant experience in a Universal Banker or similar role required
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of bank products and services
• Highly customer-focused and consultative with effective communication, critical-thinking and decision-making skills
• Proficient in opening deposit accounts, performing account maintenance and processing bank transactions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with Fiserv Premier a plus
• Must be able to clearly speak and write in English including being able to present information and respond to questions
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business, technology and professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
• Must have reliable transportation to travel to Norwood, Norfolk and Plainville branches as needed

Universal Banker II Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and recommend products and services to customers
• Promptly answer e-mails and telephone calls from customers while providing quality service and accurate information, verbally and in writing
• Process a variety of customer transactions including opening of accounts using Business Process Manager; gather all documents necessary to open accounts according to the CIP policy and how to title accounts correctly
• Conduct research on customer accounts and resolve customer questions
• Assist customers with safe deposit boxes; coordinate safe deposit box drillings on behalf of the customer, bank, and lock company
• Provide electronic banking assistance, and train new users on the functionality and assets of electronic banking

• Serve as back-up in the absence of the Branch Manager
• Perform supervisory functions including check and wire signing, and supervisor overrides; troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely, friendly, and professional manner
• Open and close the branch according to procedures and security guidelines
• Manage and balance the vault and night deposit under dual control; set and disarm the alarm system
• Process IRA contributions, distributions, transfers, and rollovers
• Accurately complete maintenance on accounts in Navigator
• Process mail to include deposits, account close outs, CD renewals, in addition to miscellaneous request
• Accurately complete customer information in the Currency Transaction Reports (CTR's) within Integrated Teller for transactions greater than 10k dollars; complete SAR referral forms
• Maintain a working knowledge of all banking products and services; keep current with product and service enhancements
• Keep current on how to identify fraudulent scenarios and elder abuse
