Senior Electrical Estimator

St Paul, MN | Direct Hire | $90k - 130k

Konik is partnering with A well-established electrical contractor in the Twin Cities region is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to support continued growth across commercial, industrial, healthcare, and multi-family markets. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on complex bids, collaboration, and direct client engagement.

Senior Electrical Estimator Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed cost estimates for electrical construction projects.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
• Perform material and labor takeoffs using AccuBid estimating software 
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor proposals.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and conduct site walks as needed.
• Prepare bid proposals and assist with client presentations.
• Identify risks, value engineering opportunities, and constructability challenges.
• Partner closely with project managers and engineers throughout preconstruction.
• Maintain cost history data and contribute to process improvements.
• Support design-build/design-assist efforts with pricing insights.

Senior Electrical Estimator Qualifications:

• 5+ years of electrical estimating experience on projects typically ranging from $1M–$10M.
• Strong understanding of electrical construction methods, materials, and systems.
• Working knowledge of NEC and local codes.
• Proficiency with AccuBid, On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office (AutoCAD a plus).
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously.
• Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work on-site (flexibility for remote work as needed)
