Job Description

Global is a powerhouse in the commercial roofing industry. Trusted by Fortune 500 companies, property managers, and developers across the globe. Since 1971, we’ve delivered innovative, high-quality roofing solutions for commercial, industrial, and multi-family properties.

Why Join Us

This isn’t just another Install Scheduler role, it’s your opportunity to drive efficiency and support growth for a leading contractor making big moves nationwide. We’ll give you the tools, resources, and support to succeed, along with a culture that celebrates achievement and rewards results. At Global, we believe a team is always stronger than an individual. That’s why our Install Schedulers don’t work in isolation, they’re embedded in our operations teams, partnering with project managers, field leaders, and logistics experts to plan, coordinate, and deliver seamless installations across every project

We practice teamwork at every stage, where your expertise in scheduling and coordinating installations combines with the strengths of others to keep projects on track and clients satisfied. As we continue to expand, we’re looking for growth-minded Install Schedulers who want to learn from the best, contribute to something bigger than themselves, and thrive in a culture built on collaboration, precision, and shared success.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain installation schedules for all active roofing projects, ensuring optimal crew allocation and project coverage.

  • Assign crews and subcontractors based on availability, project requirements, and skill sets.

  • Schedule and dispatch roofing crews to job sites, providing clear details on job scope, timing, and location.

  • Confirm installation appointments with customers and communicate any changes proactively.

  • Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and field supervisors to forecast manpower needs for upcoming months.

  • Maintain a rolling look-ahead schedule to track project starts, milestones, and labor demands.

  • Adjust schedules as needed for project overlaps, weather delays, or permitting issues.

  • Track crew availability, certifications, travel logistics, and job-specific skill requirements to ensure proper resource alignment.

  • Coordinate with the warehouse team to confirm materials readiness for scheduled installations.

  • Serve as the central liaison between project management, field teams, HR, and subcontractors, ensuring clear and timely communication.

  • Identify potential labor shortages, schedule conflicts, or bottlenecks and work with internal teams to implement solutions.

  • Generate weekly and monthly reports on labor utilization, upcoming needs, and schedule adherence.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in installation or construction scheduling (roofing experience preferred)

  • Strong understanding of field labor coordination in construction or skilled trades

  • Familiarity with roofing systems, installation workflows, and jobsite readiness practices

  • Proficiency with scheduling software such as Smartsheet, JobNimbus, MS Project, Acculynx, or similar tools

  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Experience reading construction drawings and understanding scopes of work

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

  • Experience with union and non-union labor scheduling is a plus

  • Familiarity with architectural products, HVAC, or other trades is a plus

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • One-on-one health and nutrition coaching
